I made an appointment in advance to get my Real ID and showed up early today, which I believe was key to the great experience I had. I found the process very efficient and straight forward. My questions were answered by both the DMV personnel and those like me waiting my turn to be helped. Now I know DMV sometimes gets a bad reputation that most people make fun of based on propagated and exaggerated stories, but that was not this DMV office. The employees that work there were very professional, polite, and helpful. Thank you for running an organized, efficient, and friendly DMV office!!
I uploaded my information before my appointment and I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Best visit ever!
Friendly service? No where to be seen. People that work here act like they have to perform brain surgery all day and they just can't fathom treating people with respect. I saw the male working the desk being mean to the people in front of me but still walked up with a smile and he was extremely disrespectful and condescending to me. I did nothing to deserve the way he treated me.

Having to renew my CDL I was not looking forward to the "dreaded" DMV visit. Most of you know the "NEW" DMV is located on Skyway and is quite nice. Good access and parking. When I walked in I was very impressed by the layout. I did NOT have an appointment, and walked up to the desk and was issued a number to wait. While finding a seat my number was called. I was served by an extremely pleasant gal that was efficient, professional, courteous, and friendly. My entire visit was completed in less than ten minutes. My recent visit to the new (and greatly improved) Santa Maria DMV was awesome.
