I made an appointment and it was just a few days away. The entire process was only about 30 minutes! I got my Real iD super fast and easy.

Having to renew my CDL I was not looking forward to the "dreaded" DMV visit. Most of you know the "NEW" DMV is located on Skyway and is quite nice. Good access and parking. When I walked in I was very impressed by the layout. I did NOT have an appointment, and walked up to the desk and was issued a number to wait. While finding a seat my number was called. I was served by an extremely pleasant gal that was efficient, professional, courteous, and friendly. My entire visit was completed in less than ten minutes. My recent visit to the new (and greatly improved) Santa Maria DMV was awesome.
