San Jose California DMV Reviews and Tips
People wern't properly socially distancing, and staff wasn't enforcing properly. Lines took long time, and the staff themself were not friendly. Typical DMV experience really. Parking was fine. Definatly recommend having an appointment as the non-appointment line was a lot longer

This is the worst DMV office I have ever visit. The staff and supervisor are very impatient!! Our number was skipped. The staff didn't even try spending a minute on checking the system to make sure but simply said the system never skipped a number and asked us to get in line again. I should have taken a photo of the display board to proof it. They treated you like you are a liar. The experience is horrible. It would only take them a little time to help customer but they didn't even try. I would rate 0 if I could.

I need to renew my ID how does that process work do I have to pay again
I had a misunderstanding yesterday at your office. I was in to transfer my license and was not aware I would also need to take a written test. I was having some difficulty with the questions and failed my test. The employee told me I needed to go and get a book to look at. I did so and when I was retaking the test I had the book with me. The employee quit my test because I had the book with me while I was taking the test. I did not intend to do anything to compromise my taking the test. I sincerely apologize and accept responsibility as I should have reasonably known not to have the book with me. I would like to know when I would be able to attempt to retake the test.
