Fullerton California DMV Reviews and Tips
For the most part, people followed the rules and the employees were courteous. I was able to stand in line outside and wait until I was called.

There area was clean and sanitized. People respected the rules and the employees were courteus. I liked how the wait wasn't too bad and that we were able to wait outside until I was called in. I felt safe as everything was distant even inside.

It was the typical DMV experience of going window-to-window but with masks. I didn't have to wait very long at any one spot but it took a while overall. Everyone, including customers, were wearing masks so that was good. The staff was professional. Doesn’t seem like we’re getting much value for how expensive it is and how much the new gas tax is. They should be cutting prices for this stuff not raising them.

Staff was pretty helpful in assisting me. The wait wasn't too bad because I made an appointment. Parking was plentiful and easy to find. Everyone had to wear masks inside the entire time. I would definitely recommend making an appointment and having all of your documents in order to avoid problems.

The staff inside was half helpful, half disengaged. The first worker I talked with that did most of the paperwork I needed done was very helpful, but the person who took my picture for my new license was completely rude and seemed as if she was done for the day. I understand that they are working long hours and are tired, but the fact that one employee was so helpful and the other was the complete opposite was very surprising. Also, the employees that worked outside to make sure no one coming inside was sick were very helpful and quick about their work.

I received a D.U.I in May of 2022 and my drivers license was restricted. How long does the restriction last?
Hello,
The amount of time that your driver's license will be restricted following a DUI depends on a couple of different circumstances. Drivers who are 21 or older and show a blood alcohol content (BAC) level of 0.08% or more will have their license suspended for four months if it is their first offense. If it is your second offense in 10 years, it will be restricted for a year.
Drivers who are under the age of 21 and show a BAC of 0.01% can plan to face a one-year suspension following a first-time offense.
The laws change slightly for drivers who refuse to undergo a blood or breath test.
Regardless of age, drivers who refuse to submit to a blood or breath test during a DUI traffic stop will have their license restricted for a year following a first-time offense. A second offense in 10 years will result in having your license revoked for two years, and a third offense in 10 years will result in having your license revoked for three years.
