I was pleasantly surprised how quickly things went given the amount of people who were there.

My license was due for renewal on May 1st and from a recommendation to go to Santa Paula I went through the process of sending in my documents (birth certificate, marriage license and 2 utility bills) for the RealID ahead of time and got an appointment booked for 04/24/2025. I arrived at the DMV with my documents and when the lady waiting on me checked my marriage license she barely even looked at it and immediately told me that I needed a certified copy from the County where the license was acquired. I wasn't planning on traveling anytime soomsoon so I went ahead and renewed my drivers license knowing that I would have to return for the RealID. When I returned home I looked at my marriage license more closely and I did see that it was indeed a certified copy. It had all the recording information on it and I could see and could barely feel the seal but it was there. I again booked another appointment and went yesterday with the documents in hand. When the lady helping me asked what I needed I explained what happened and she looked at the marriage license very carefully and said it was indeed certified and verified it with her manager. She kept apologizing to me for what happened and told me that there was no fee. Now that's what I call Customer Service! Even though I was not happy with having to go back I would highly recommend that if a visit to the DMV is necessary go to Santa Paula!

What is the direct phone number for this office. I'm selling my car and I read the pink slip and have a few questions before I go to the office.
