Clovis CA DMV Field Office

I had to visit the DMV to obtain my REAL ID. I had filled out all of my paperwork online and gathered my documents beforehand. It was very simple process when I got there. I waited about 20 minutes to get inside due to COVID and waited inside around 15 minutes before being called up to the window to complete my paperwork. It was smooth sailing and the process was painless.

When I arrived we waited outside due to COVID for my appointment. It was cold that day and I noticed elderly people waiting outside for long periods of time so that was definitely a little off putting. Once I got inside about 20 minutes after I arrived I was able to wait indoors. I only waited another 20 minutes or so and then was called up to the counter to complete my real ID paperwork and get my real ID. I printed off all my documents prior and did most of my paperwork online so most of it just needed to be validated. I took my new picture and signed my documents, paid my bill, and was out the door. It was painless for a DMV trip! It is very helpful to complete whatever paperwork you can beforehand using their website. I think that saved me a lot of time.

I love this location! The building is easy to find and there is always plenty of parking. Employees are nice and are able to help with what you need. The building itself is well maintained and nice on the inside. Wait time is generally short compared to other DMVs.
