I drove to this location because it was closest to me from Phoenix into California - I needed to deal with my California driver's license to change it from restricted to regular as my suspension was already over for a while. Finding it was easy for me, parking lot small, not too many people were waiting but the wait line was outside and the weather was very hot. There was social distancing by people standing 6 feet apart but not everyone was wearing a mask. My one issue was that, when checking in to be directed further - person took my paperwork to go look into the system and came back telling me that my license is still suspended and that I have not completed all the requirements! This was furthest from the truth and I knew it. I insisted to still be able to go inside and deal with other person at their working station but I was nervous and agitated. Once I presented my paperwork to this other person inside the building - she found my proper information in the system and everything was ok. I was still mad though.

When I went in to gt a REAL ID I did of the paperwork and since I had to renew my ID I decided to get the real isd since it will be required next year. After doing everything online and gathering my other paperwork I went to the Blythe office and they refused to take my birth certificate saying it wasn't a certified copy yet they used it when I first got my ID. Then to show my address I used a letter from the social security administration and they refused that too. So, I was not permitted to obtain the Real ID and had to just renew my id as it was. So, now next year I have to pay the fee all over again in order to obtain the real ID. What is that all about? I wasn't happy.
