Went to the DMV Office on Golf road in Pewaukee this morning to renew my drivers license. It was a very pleasant experience. In and out within a half hour. Everyone was knowledgeable, professional, pleasant and helpful. Thank you for starting my day out in such a great way on such a gloomy day!

Everyone ought to be fired except perhaps 2 women . They are rude , miserable people who don’t even say good morning . The tax payers ought to demand for these women to be fired ! They don’t deserve to work there !!!

My experience has been surprisingly joyful! Everyone I have interacted with has created me with a smile. And just enough wait time catch up on emails etc.

Recently moved from CA to TX. Tried to register my car. Was told the laws changed and I needed a Real ID or they would not allow me to. DPS says I have to register my cars before they will issue a drivers license/Real ID. I told DMV this and they said “we can’t help you”, here is a supervisors phone number. The “Supervisor” said “well if you don’t have a Real ID, you have two choices-Go back to California, get a Real ID and come back or lie to DPS and say you don’t own a car. I was shocked. Every other department in Texas has been so helpful. I went to DPS again and said “I won’t lie, is there anything you can do to help?” The DPS person was wonderful. She spoke to her supervisor and they decided they would issue a temporary license, have me register my car and return before they processed the license for completion. Great! Back to DMV. Now they tell me that since I am a Texas resident, unless I have the receipt from California DMV from years ago showing I paid sales tax, I have to pay sales tax in Texas. I point out that the registration is current in CA and that no DMV will issue registration unless the sales tax was paid. Nope. So DMV soaks me for hundreds of dollars to penalize me for being a Texas resident and not having a receipt from CA DMV from a decade ago. I pay, go back to DPS, where they are kind and polite and so helpful. DMV needs leadership like those in DPS. When I mentioned the long wait times for DPS appointments in McKinney they informed me that every day, between 8am and 8:10am new appointments are added every day. I wish that was on their website. I love Texas, DPS was awesome, DMV was as bad as it was in California.

Workers here are not friendly and they don’t really notify you that you are getting a photo until last minute.Try to make conversation and not friendly at all!

First time their never will go back the lady in lane 45 was on the rag she was useless incompetent

The DMV dept. is extremely efficient, thorough, polite and friendly. They get you in and out with all your papers and in good timing. I've gone there and they weren't so busy, they took care of me. I was grateful and thankful. I highly recommend this DMV. Everyone is very nice.

5 Star Customer Service. After trying to pay my registration fee online and the website being down for over a week I called and it brought me to Tracy Naccarato in the Priest River office. Her customer service was incredible, and she went above and beyond for me. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
