Joliet Illinois SOS Reviews and Tips

I needed to register a new car and pay for stickers. The staff was very helpful, very thorough. I didn't appreciate having to go to a second line to pay, and I could only pay by check, of which I had to write two, but it wasn't much of a hassle as these things go. The most disturbing part was that citizens didn't seem to be following COVID guidelines very closely, and much of the staff didn't seem too concerned. But I was out of there in under 40 minutes, which was much better than some of the horror stories I'd heard from neighbors and my family.

I have been trying to make an appointment in Joliet for 4 days now. I want to make the appointment for 2 to 3 weeks from now, I called the 312 number and was told to check each morning for a same day appointment. I tried to explain that I was a senior citizen with flexible time and wanted to make the appointment for 2/3 weeks from now.
He either did not understand English because he kept telling to check each morning or just did not care.
