I'll start off by saying the staff is polite, been going there for 36 years, it's completely outdated to handle the volume, I get there at 7:30 they open at 8:30, when the doors open there has to be 50-60 people online, the room fills up quick and is still a line outside Contacted a state representative recently and it's not even on the table for improvement due to funding
I felt like the gentleman who failed me gave me only one reason why I failed and could have passed me but chose not to. Maybe he was having a bad day I don't know but they shouldn't fail you based on a foul mood.
Went there on 6/28/24 around 11:10AM ish. Girl in front was rude and refused to take my ssn card because it had my middle name on it and passport did not. I also had a paystub and several other docs. I tried to tell her I brought everything the Internet site recommended but she did not care.
She is angry and gets her jollies turning people away.
This particular DMV has always been horrible though. Angry employees with substandard intelligence levels.

I was only trying to have my license renewed. My intake person Barbara, an older senior than myself, is rude and demanding. She cannot answer any question w/o making the recipient of customer care feel 3ft. tall. I asked for additional photos to be taken as I was not represented well in the picture.
Don't cross this PennDOT representative! Her irrational hostile mood is based on some other business going on within the confines of a AAA provider. Don't go in there after dark. no one else needs to know about packages other than travel!

I am extremely grateful for the help I received from the CDL department. In a world where people would rather find a way to NOT help you, they went above and beyond to help with my medical certificate.
