It was not at all clear to me that I had to pay $60.00 from all that I read before hand. I thought it was $30. The young lady at the counter was extremely helpful and friendly. She did a wonderful job explaining and working with me. She was at Window 3 and is a good representative for DMV.

Check walk in times B-4 if able. Drove 40 min to my old home town DMV because they’re usually quick. Nope. 45 minutes before closing and they weren’t taking in any walk ins.
If this was a actual business that would would be out of business due to poor customer service. We are cattle to be processed to them. All they do is take in money and still can’t hire enough people or be open on a Saturday. Horribly managed place as usual.

I had an appointment, and there was a line well outside of the building. I got in line not knowing whether I could go on in or not. The person behind me also had an appointment and has the same question. Perhaps some signage outside at entrance directing those with appointments to go on in would help.

this is my second day waiting more than 4 hours and my number is still not even on the board. Absolutely pathetic and there is a better way to do things like having workers at every desk not just 2.

Tip: don't believe anything you read online about this office and its hours! Open 9-5 with a whopping hour and a half lunch break, oh, and only open those limited hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. MAYBE! Not always. Only if you're lucky.
Add this to the long list of joys of living at the coast... overpriced and terrible restaurants (mostly), low availability of good produce, extremely poor health care (if you can get any at all), criminally incompetent postal clerks (Otis),and contractors who never call you back, or once they start a job take forever to finish.
Ugh.
