I went back to the DMV today to show proof of insurance and pay for and pick up my new License plate tag, this was my 2nd visit as the Insurance agent had forgotten to give me a receipt for insurance of one of our vehicles, so she had to mail me a copy of of my payment, so I could return to the DMV and pay for my tag.
I returned to the DMV and their was a line of people all the way out the front door, so I went down to window 24 as I had been directed to do before. When I got to the window I asked if I could take care of this matter and pay for the tag. I was then directed to return to the office by the door and get some kind of authorization. I have had three surgeries this year, including a hip replacement, and am in constant pain which is obvious as they could see my difficulty in walking, but they couldn't care less, so I returned to my car and went home without my tag. This seems to be the prevalent atitude at the DMV, and a lot of the Cape Coral city offices.

Just a terrible organization with the employees who has the absolute worst attitude. It is known that the DMV has the most ignorant employees, but the Sunrise location is #1. Ignorant, no care in the world and everyone is on a power trip. The 3 employees working the morning outside lines have no care including when someone has been sitting outside since 430am. Crazy what you have to do just to renew a license. Wish you could just make an appointment, but the website is broke and ABSOLUTELY they will not let you book an appointment in the person. You ask to speak to the supervisor, and she hides in her office as her job is that important that she has no time to speak with a customer. The 3 employees working the morning walk in line and the supervisor..... TERRIBLE attitude.

Greeted when I walked in the door by a very pleasant lady who was extremely helpful. The person at window 9 was knowledgeable and efficient. Very nice people to deal with At Willoughby!

Made an appoint for this morning tho renew my drivers license. Appointment was for 11:15. They printed me a number when I arrived. Over an hour later, my number had still not been called. After another 30 minutes, I threw in the towel. The people that worked there acted as if you owed them something.
Pretty disappointing.
