Hazlet MVC Vehicle service center Requires Appointments for:
- Registration/title transfer for the private sale of a new vehicle, boat, or trailer
- New registration/title
- Salvage title
- License plate transfer or replacement
- Replacement or duplicate title.
- Renewal of registration.
- You can make a renewal appointment starting three months before your expiration date.
- You can also renew online.
You do not need an appointment for the following, which can be done on a walk-in basis at any Vehicle Center.
- Disability placard (initial or renewal)
- License plate return (most locations have a drop box).

Worst phone system known to man. Doesn’t actually direct you to anyone. Doesn’t allow you to try and make an appointment. Claims the offices are closed when they’re clearly open. Awful.

Very poor communication. Trying to make apt to transfer registration from my deceased spouse to myself. I have the surrogate cert and no response from your office to schedule an apt. Registration expires in august. Left 3 messages and your on line scheduling system does not work!

Im unable to make a simple appointment. the program does not allow for simple registration. no help available.

The MVC Site is Terrible site! Trying to make an in person appointment, shows calendar however link does not work. Called also no help cannot speak to a live person!!!!
