Ruston DMV Office: 104 W. Arizona Ave.

On May 11, 2023, I made an appointment to get a plate for my daughter's new (used) vehicle. The appointment was for 1:15 p.m. When I got there, people were called ahead of me way beyond my appointment time. I went to the desk and asked Marquita Millican why I had not been called, and she said I did not have an appointment. I told her I did and she LITERALLY shrugged her shoulders and said she wasn't notified. I showed her a screen shot on my phone of the appointment and she would not honor it or even check online. Another employee took me after she finished with her client. This place has always been the most DISRESPECTFUL place ever in the State of Louisiana. I typically drive out of my way to go elsewhere or use online services or use North Louisiana Title because of the rudeness and lack of any social manners whatsoever, and almost always from this same pitiful excuse of an employee. Yesterday, June 8, 2023, I went to return the plate on my daughter's old vehicle and this same person would not initially take it because I'm not the "registered owner." I told her it was sold. She finally took it but refused to give me a receipt for it. When I told her I needed a receipt because they tried to charge me before since it did not show up in the system, she handed me my plate back. This is absolutely unacceptable. No wonder Louisiana, and in particular Ruston DMV, has such a poor reputation. And you know why? Because they know they can. NO ONE ever holds them accountable.
