a very unpleasant experience; I was forced to wait outside for an hour and a half in the hot sun which resulted in me being very sweaty and uncomfortable; this location is highly inefficient

Overall, I enjoyed the process of going to the DMV at the independence boulevard location. It was very easy to find the location and find close parking. The wait was a little long and I had to wait for a little longer than 15 minutes. However when it was my turn, the worker was very helpful and I was able to receive my new license within 15 minutes of sitting down. My tip would be to try schedule an appointment early in the morning to try to get out and reduce waiting.

The lines were long. It reeked of disinfectant spray, trash on the floor, and restrooms were filthy. The staff was friendly and over worked.

The staff was very helpful and practiced social distancing. It was not hard as I thought it would be . I am grateful that I was able to see someone compared to the state being shut down the last few months and things having to be done online. I felt very safe going to this location due to the fact that it is the main office that takes care of everything

The DMV of Baton Rouge is the Worst DMV in the United state. They will never pick up your phone call.

How can I reinstate my drivers license if the message I’ve sent over the phone doesn’t reply back

Ive been trying to contact someone about a fee for my cancelation of insurance, I been moved out of my old apartment and just now getting this mail. The deadlines for the fee is pass due and the mail say I have to pay 565 dollars. Im a college student who is barely holding on. I wish yall customer service would improve. The pay over phone automatically hangs up. And we as humans are expected to send a money order to the address? How would we even know if they received it? Please stop failing us.

I showed up early to the DMV. I had to wait outside, but passed the line because I had an appointment to renew my driver's license. It took less than 10 minutes after gaining entrance.
