Augusta DMV Office: 2816 Washington Road

The DMV is pretty easy to find for the most part and there is always plenty of parking every time I go. It doesn’t take long to sign in and stating what you need, but once checked in that’s when the wait can be on the longer side. After the wait though the staff is very helpful and works quick when you’re at their desk. My tip would be is always do the research and prepared with all document you need, makes the process smoother and faster.

The staff was extremely helpful, and welcomed me as I entered. There was zero confusion as to why I was there after they asked my name and looked my appointment up in the system. There was almost no wait time because everything was done by appointment only ensuring no waiting in lines. Covid protocols were followed, and I hope this appointment trend continues even after COVID.

The staff was very friendly and I felt like the wait was not that long for the amount of people that were in the room. There was a lot of parking and Covid procedures were okay. I feel as though the covid rules were very relaxed which made me a bit uncomfortable.
