The website says that you close at 2:00 on Saturday but you actually close at 12:00. That needs to be corrected.
Went to Lake Zurich facility, by appointment, twice and met with three different representatives. I have a unique situation as I purchased/financed an automobile in AZ and need IL license plates. I brought tons of documents but was told that unless the bank sent my title to IL Secretary of State that they could not/would not help me. Nobody offered me any alternative solutions. Conversely, I went to the Woodstock facility twice last week in one day AND Rob and Anna were wonderful and could not have been more helpful, offering me a temporary solution, including temporary plates, giving me time to research and remedy the situation.
What an amazing experience with these folks. Special thanks to Rob and Anna as I was there twice yesterday. I went to another office twice before deciding to go to Woodstock. First office not very helpful. Without going into a lot of detail, these two individuals were beyond helpful. Suffice to say, I would not be driving my car today without their care and assistance.
My wife and I visited the DMV office in Galesburg to get our state ID's. This was the nicest, friendliest DMV we have ever been too. The staff was excellent and made the process almost enjoyable! Thank you for a great experience.
I went to the Dixon facility on Good Friday to get my license sticker. Under normal circumstances the place is packed, but because of the holiday, it was 2 customers and the staff. The woman who assisted me was kind and courteous. My business was complete, but I felt the need to tell them that I appreciated them all. I told them that 30 years previously, the office was full of really rude and nasty people. It was very stressful to have to walk in the door! For the past 10 years or so, they have been wonderful! I believe that kindness and efficiency should be acknowledged, so thank you Dixon DMV!
