I arrived in the early afternoon and there was a line already. We stood in line for about 2 and a half hours. Someone would periodically come around and give you a ticket and/or check the ticket. Otherwise they would just make sure you have one so they know where they left off. The line doesn't have much coverage from the wind or shade until you get close to the entrance so pay attention to the forecast to be prepared. When we finally got inside, it was actually kind of frustrating because you've been out in the weather and sun for a couple hours, you're all jittery and recovering when you finally get inside, but you have to take the picture and sign electronically right away! Most people, including myself, complain about the picture and the signature because you're just not ready for it. Everything else is pretty straight forward once you're past that part. Take a seat, wait for your number, go to the corresponding desk (they call out the ticket number and also show it on the many displays). I had to take a written and road test. The written test is all electronic. You have to get a certain number right and then the test ends when you hit that number of correct answers even if there are questions left over. At that point they'll have you get in your vehicle and pull in behind the building to go on the road test. Afterwards you wait a few minutes outside of the back of the building where you park after completing the test. They will come out with the paperwork shortly after and you're all set!

Very surprised at how fast everything turned out to be. Due to the Covid, it seems like everything was more streamlined. The staff was efficient and very friendly.

I went to DMV on Tuesday afternoon to schedule appointments for my sons to obtain the learner's permit. At the entrance I was told by this person that I have to make appointments online and he gave me a piece of paper with a bar code on it. I scanned the bar code outside the office and I did not see a link for permits so I went back to ask him to show me the link? He totally ignored me, so I went home. I scheduled the appointments online but I felt that was not the right link. I had the son ask the school secretary, but she said that was not the right way to register for an appointment, without giving him the correct information. I went to the DMV today Thursday at 5:05 Pm (because this is when I found out the the link was not the correct one) and they closed. On the website shows from 7:30am -6:00 pm. I feel that the person that was at the door on Tuesday mislead me by giving me the wrong information. I wasted so much time for nothing. Ask more questions, more that one person to get the right answer. Definitely don't trust the door man.

Went smoothly. Was somewhat organized. Still waiting for follow through on replacement license plates with registration sticker from June, 2023. Was told it would take 45 days. Still haven't received.
