They are limiting the number of people inside so expect to stand in line outside for a little bit. Make sure you assess BEFORE going inside. If you forget, there will be an employee walking around outside letting you know to call that in while you wait outside. Actually, when I went in July, there was a person outside giving me that info. My husband went just last week to register a new truck and he said he was not notified to assess until he got to the window. (I told him to do so the night before but he said he forgot.) The Assessment portion of the office is shut down and employees are doing it over the phone from home. But, once you've assessed, the employees inside can help you to get your tag, plate, license, or whatever.
