No one is allowed to accompany a customer into the testing area while a knowledge test is being taken except for interpreters. Drive Tests Drive tests are given by appointment only. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call (503) 299-9999.
If there is inclement weather, drive tests may be cancelled or traction devices may be required. Please check the Special Notices or confirm your drive test by calling the office.

Covid procedures seemed well in line. It was a more complicated sort of visit, but in time, I managed to get my license and get out of there.

The staff was helpful but quick with me. They weren't overly friendly. It is easy to find but the parking lot is small. It is always crowded in there and the wait is usually about a half an hour or more before getting helped.
