Questions and Answers
I am 18 and have never acquired a learners permit. I'm wanting to come in and take my driver's test but I wanted to make sure that I would be able to do so.
Hello,
Since you are 18 years old, you do not need to have a prior learner's permit to obtain an Oklahoma driver's license. To apply for an OK driver's license you will need to first prepare for a written test by studying the Oklahoma Driver's Manual.
You will need to bring two proofs of identity and your social security number to your written test appointment. If you have a certificate from a Driver Education Completion Course, you can waive the written test. To schedule the written test please visit https://oklahoma.gov/service/all-pages/link-exit-page/link-exit-page-version-610311111111111112111.html .
Once you pass the written test, you will need to schedule your behind the wheel driving test.
