Albuquerque DMV Office: 10200 Menual N.E. #100

I went to the DMV on Menaul in Albuquerque to update my drivers license to a REAL-ID compliant version as required by the TSA. It was an extremely easy location to find, just go down Juan Tabo and turn left on Menaul. I went in the morning around 9AM, took a ticket and waited. The waiting area was mainly full, but the staff was moving people quickly, so it only took about half an hour until my name was called. The staff person was very friendly and directed me to a machine for a vision test, then took my picture. I was given a temporary license and told my picture license would come in several weeks. All-in-all a very pleasurable experience and not at all like DMVs are portrayed in the movies or by the mainstream media. My main tip is to go when to the DMV when it opens so you are not late and also to remember to bring the forms of ID required.
