Hendersonville North Carolina DMV Reviews and Tips
I went this morning 3/28 to the DMV in Hendersonville NC. To renew my driver's license. The person who checked us in and the person giving me the exam were both helpful and very friendly. I was not sure what to expect, but this was a pleasant experience. (5 Stars ) Mike Bat Cave, NC

I've never been treated so poorly at a DMV. Pulled all the needed documents out of my purse and was literally lectured about how if my son is old enough to drive he's old enough to this on his own, among other things. I didn't know the DMV was also giving out parenting advice. It's so unnecessary to treat people in such a condecending way.

Was told they couldn’t help me after 45 minutes of standing in line there needs to be a sign or something if they can’t help you instead of just making me wait

My husband came in not once, but three times to get assistance about reporting a possible misuse of his license by an individual. The first woman the first time told him he would have to wait in line and maybe they would get to him. He stayed for hours then to be told he would have to come back. The following Monday he went in early when they opened for another woman to walk him to a door with a sign posted reading that the theft bureau person would not be in, but Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 to 10. He then came back a third time when they opened on Wednesday as soon as they opened for the same woman to tell him. “Well they’re usually not here!” You will have to go to Asheville. All three times one of these women could have actually earned their salary by one, being compassionate about the situation, secondly they should learn to not tell the untruth. I seriously hope AI will soon replace these useless individuals! Please do better with hiring people who actually want to do a job! Every DMV office is just like this, hiring unworthy people!
