Sugar Creek Missouri DOR Reviews and Tips
I was in the Sugar Creek license office today to renew my hubby's truck tags. We arrived about 3:00pm. The nice lady at the door said it would be about 16 minutes. It sure was just about 16 minutes. The young lady with long black hair and braces was so pleasant a did a great job quick and very effeciant. I ask if her job was hard to do she said no because they train you very well. Thanks for hiring pleasant people who want to work.

In transitioning, for life, in Missouri, after living most of the last 40 plus years in Kansas, my son, Martin and I had to procure the necessary essentials that are required when a move to a new state occurs. Our experience in procuring “REAL ID”,was perplexing to say the least.
We were not provided with all the necessary information at the 23rd Street DMV. So we were amiss, when we thought that we had our ducks all in a row. After spending 5 or 6 hours at that location and hearing discouraging stories from fellow patrons, and not getting correct and precise information (which we did not discover until going to The Sugar Creek DMV) and on the advice of a gracious, and kind Librarian, from the 23rd Street East Library, who thought Sugar Creek would provide a solution to our achieving our aspirations.
My son had, due to circumstances beyond my control, handled the 23rd Street aspect of our journey. We, my son and I, on entering the facility at Sugar Creek were greeted by a wonderful, charismatic, Christian woman named Kendra. She is a treasure, and graces the entranceway to Sugar Creek in a way that cannot be equaled. Their lines move quickly. They are thorough in their presentation of information to their patrons, yet because my son was not fully informed at the 23rd Street facility, we encountered a lot of frustrations. After the fact, we all realized, after finally showing our very competent, bright and fully informed Drivers License Clerk, Leticia, the Real ID form provided by 23rd Street. The area relating to supportive documentation, e.g......divorce decrees etc had been entirely overlooked. It had not been highlighted. Had my son been aware of its relevance, our relentless trips would have been avoided.
In finally realizing the consequence of that omission. I had to go to Olathe, Kansas to procure a certified copy of my decree which provided legal proof that I had resumed using my maiden name legally...as supported by the decree. So when after 3 harrowing visits my son showed Leticia the incompletely highlighted form of the requirements for, Real ID, a light bulb went off in Leticia’s head. She realized that we had been given a half-picked duck at The 23rd Street DMV. Smooth sailing prevailed thereafter.
Leticia, her Manager, Chelsea, Kendra, and last but not least, Nichole, were the wonderful, conscientious DMV employees we had the privilege and honor to help walk us through this virtual mine-field that resulted from my son’s visit to the 23rd Street facility. We applaud the patience, and kindness , and graciousness of the aforementioned individuals as well. In observing them performing their various assignments we could not help but give them all A+’s for their stellar performances. They work hard! They do not play at working!
SUGAR CREEK, puts the SUGAR, a mostly natural enhancer in a majority of our everyday lives, back in the superior operation of a business, state owned, with SUGAR being a part of its’ name. SUGAR CREE K, is Golden, Missouri. SUGAR CREEK, shines
for you!

Wish I could give 0 stars! I went by what the website says and the 6:30 closing time they have listed IS NOT CORRECT! I am beyond frustrated at this point as I have now had to take off work not once but 3 times to try to get my license renewed (and get the real ID- not not typing all that out again as I already put it on the DMV website however it’s a bunch of crap. They need to update their system and their automated system when you call the Sugarcreek DMV.
