I've tried several times to make an appointment online, as the website prompts you to do so. However, there isn't any service that allows you to do such a thing. It reroutes you to the same intro page over and over. I called to set up an appointment and let it ring for 1:47. No answer. It is just baffling that an institution known nationwide for horrible service over several decades continues to be atrocious.

I made an appointment online a couple of weeks before my license expired. I arrived 20 minutes early. I waited for approximately 5 minutes and my name was called. Kevin was my staff member and he was the best. He was very professional, nice and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Tip: Make an appointment!

Renewed my license yesterday. Great experience. Very fast, organized. The young man that assisted me was very professional and helpful. Make sure you sign up for a spot and do not walk in. They do a great job

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This morning, my coworker, a properly document non-citizen, went to renew her KS driver's license at this location. She was refused without reason, despite having her proper documentation with her, and told to go back to her own country.

This was an absolutely wonderful place!! They took me right on time for my appointment, and the person that helped me was exceptionally nice and helpful. When you’re information pops up on the screen, I sure hope you get to go to spot number 10.

Get-In-Line app is terrific! Waited only a couple of minutes compared to if I had been a walk-in. DM staff VERY courteous... best DMV visit I have ever experienced. Suggest you use Get-In-Line.

Good to have a greeter to guide customers. Get in line app was a plus. Very busy location. Fairly well staffed. My agent was efficient. Grateful for that.

I have never received my new license and have no idea how to resolve this issue as I only have my paper license.

I went to the olathe (Murlen) office back in October 2025.
I was given a paper temporary license, and my current license was taken and cut up.
I have contacted Olathe dmv numberous times and there is no answer, or a message will come up giving a (785) area code number that says
"this number has been disconnected".
Absolutely appalled at the lack of customer service.
To this day, March 2, 2026 I still have no valid driver's license and my temporary has also long expired.
I have been taken to special lines in the airport which resulted in almost missing my flight and undue major stress on my family travelers.
Please advise me where to go and what to do after paying for a permanent license (only due to a simple address change), and have been unable to get ahold of a human being to save my life.
This also happened to my son and they told him there was nothing they could do about it and made Him pay a 2nd time for a new license of which They lost.
What is happening in Olathe, this is pathetic. Aside from a nusiance.
