The Kansas Department of Revenue (KDOR) is excited to announce that beginning Monday; May 19, 2022, Kansas taxpayers will be able to change their addresses online through the Individual Income Tax Renewal System. This enhancement results from individual taxpayers' feedback and will provide a convenient option for addressing changes.

To change your address online, log in and select the "Change Address" option from the drop-down menu. You will enter your new address and confirm the changes. Once your address has been updated, you can print or download a new Renewal Report Order Form for use when renewing your vehicle registration.

A Welcomed Improvement and Modernization of the System

This is a welcome change for many residents of Kansas who have had to deal with the hassle of changing their address in person at the Department of Revenue office. In addition, the new online system will make it much easier and more convenient for people to keep their information up-to-date. Renewing online is often cheaper than renewing in person. Many states offer discounts for renewing online, so you may be able to save money by renewing your license or ID online.

To renew your license or ID online, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Your name
  • Address
  • Date of birth
  • Driver's license number or ID card number


You will also need to pay a renewal fee.

The Department of Revenue is urging all residents of Kansas to take advantage of the new online system and update their information as soon as possible. This will help to ensure that everyone's records are up-to-date and accurate. You will need a debit or credit card to pay the renewal fee.
