Can I do a change of address for registration and Drivers license?
To get a new Florida driver's license after changing your name, you will need to go to a FLHSMV office and bring one form of primary identification, one proof of social security, two proofs of residency, and the original or a certified marriage certificate, divorce decree, or court order.
Your name will have to match the name on your social security card, so you should allow at least 24-48 hours for the change to be made on the Social Security electronic system before applying for a new license through the FLHSMV.
