You will need to sign the title very much like an ordinary buyer during a regular title transfer. You will need to complete the front of the Certificate of Title by signing on Line A. Then, you will need to complete the back of the Certificate of Title. You will also need to download and complete a REG 256 (Statement of Facts) Form. Finally, you will need to complete the transaction with the DMV
