San Antonio Texas DPS Reviews and Tips
The main drivers license office on the south side. South New Braunfels, near Pecan Valley Dr. Right next to Pytel Park.

The staff were procedural. The wait was short, after checking of temperature, query of symptoms, checking in via kiosk, in queue for turn, and getting ID. Parking was the easiest process. The Covid procedures are like former. I will suggest not to show up early because you will wait outside until appointment.

I am not happy with this DMV nor any of them due to the fact they have explioted covid into non-personal service. This new practice of making appointments online in advance benefits NO ONE BUT THEM. It is inconvient and now people are losing out on job opportunities and travel opportunities among other things because of this system. There is no PURPOSE for it now except to benefit them and it US they are supposed to be servicing. It is time to go back to WALK in appointments. PERIOD

had to wait a month when i booked an appointment online. Appointment was for 9a - was there before the appointment time - waited an hour and only 6 peaople were called - 1 of which came in without an appointment AFTER me and was called first. staff VERY rude. I suggest a different office

when I went in to get my renewal, the kiosk to check in was having problems working right. The staff said it takes them awhile to power up and they have to keep restarting the kiosk to get them to work right. So many people were waiting long periods of time just to check in that was unnecessary. The taxpayers deserve better service then this, if they are having problems with the kiosk fix the issues. Immediately to give better service to the people have staff members come in earlier to get those kiosks up and going to people do not have to wait until those kiosks are working right. Then on top of that the staff was rude and obnoxious toward the customers, when the customers was already stressed out because the kiosk was not working right now the staff are treating customers rudely.
