Columbus Ohio BMV Reviews and Tips
Staff was very helpful, wait wasn't bad (late afternoon appointment; has been busier other times I've visited in the early morning). Very easy to find with plenty of parking. Try and call ahead to clarify any supporting documents that you may need. Definitely a smoother experience than previous visits to other BMVs in the area.

I USED TO RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO GO TO THE OFFICE IN ALUM CREEK BECAUSE THE TIMES THAT I HAVE BEEN THERE, THEY ARE VERY ORGANIZED AND HELPFUL. HOWEVER THIS OFFICE (AND ALL THE BMV'S IN OHIO) NEED BILINGUAL (SPANISH ) CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT IS VERY SAD THAT FOR THE GREAT AMOUNT OF HISPANIC COMMUNITY THAT WE HAVE IN OHIO, STILL THE BMV'S ARE BEHIND ON THIS MATTER. I AM BILINGUAL I DO NOT NEED THANT KIND OF HELP BUT I AM SPEAKING ON BEHALF OF ALL MY PEOPLE. OHIO IS GROWING BUT IT IS STILL BEHIND ON SOME THINGS AND THIS IS ONE OF THEM. I'VE BEEN IN OHIO FOR 16 YEARS AND BMV'S HAVEN'T SEEN THIS TYPE OF CHANGE AT THE BMV'S. THANK YOU FOR READING THIS.

My daughter went to take her driver's test this morning and you know being a teenager and all they are not completely up to date on how things work when you go to the BMV. The customer service was horrible. The lady was rude and did not bother to explain how the process works. I would not recommend sending your teenager in without accompanying them!!!
