Platte City DMV Office: 1211 Branch St

THIS OFFICE IS EXTREMELY SLOW AND THEY DONT CARE MOVE ANY FASTER!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND WAIT TIME IS OVER 3 HOURS PLUS!! WHERE ELSE CAN I GO THINKING ABOUT DRIVING BACK TOWN I USE LIVE COULD OF HAD BETTER VIEW DRIVING THAN EVERYONE AROUND MYSELF UPSET THEY DONT DESERVE ANY STARS

Very slow

Driver’s License process is beyond slow. Don’t waste your time sitting in the lobby of this location

One person doin the license portion is not enough! One to do pics the other to do renewals. 2 hour wait😡

They have 4 for tags.

I love the Platte City DMV. They are quick and personable. If there is a wait time, it’s very quick for registering a vehicle. I have registered a new truck and gotten new plates all in about 10 minutes from walking in the door.

You would think with all the negative reviews that they would improve the service? My understanding is Licensing Offices are a private business contracted by the State? Well, the State needs to go out for bid and find a contractor that actually cares to do a good job! Just had the most painful experience at this Office. The clerk had to be argued with until she understood I had all the correct documents and luckily I was listening otherwise I would have never heard she was not issuing a Real ID! All I can is, have your documents and listen to what the clerk says to make sure you get what you need
