Pittsfield DMV Office: 333 East St.

Everybody was very helpful. Social distancing practices were observed and everyone was wearing masks. As long as you read the signage at DMV and make sure that you have the correct forms before you get in line it goes pretty quick. No one gave me an attitude or anything.

The staff was helpful, though somewhat put off. Due to Covid I was getting a new driver's licence and my Insurance Paperwork was expired. They told me I had an hour to run to a copy shop and have Liberty Mutual send me an updated copy that was good that day. I thought the hour limit (this was late morning) was unecessary stress and while they supported me, it was like they held their nose at my entire situation. At the end of the day, after running across town to a copy shop to get new paperwork I got a new Driver's License and Car Registered in Massachusetts, in the end it was way more stressful than it should have had to be.

The online info tells me I have to go in person to replace a damaged green license plate. The site for making an appointment does not mention that possibility. How do I make an appointment?
