Boston DMV Office: 136 Blackstone St.

This location is in a very populated area. There are multiple people that are in this area. What a lot of people like to do in Boston is go out. They love to participate in activities like sports or going shopping. This location is where you’ll see a whole bunch of buildings. I picked these so you could get a glimpse of what Boston looks like.

The location is easy to find and best of all is right on the MBTA's orange line. However, you should be prepared to wait a little while, as the location serves so many people as it is located in downtown Boston. It is best to get their early in the morning to help avoid some of the longer ques. However, in the case you are given a long wait time, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area to kill time. As the waiting area does get very crowded from time to time. I found the staff to be helpful but it is still the DMV which seems to suck the life out of everyone.

Place was clean, staff was efficient but not warm.

The parking in that area is absolutely awful unless you want to pay for an expensive garage. I ended up parking at a meter far away and walking over. The DMV location was a bit difficult to find just because it's a huge building with a lot of shops and doorways, but once I saw the sign I knew I was in the right place. Covid procedures worked well, but people tend to be good in the city with following them. The staff was fine but just seemed unhappy to be there. The appointment was helpful as the wait was not too bad. I've had to wait 2+ hours in the past.

The location is in the City of Boston. The RMV is located near the North End area of the City. It is walking distance to my apartment. I lined up outside after making the appointment. There was distancing between people on line and a guard outside. The line moved slowly from outside to inside the building. Then you get to a line inside. A staff member asked why I was there and checked paperwork. Then I went to a sitting area and waited for my number to be called. Then I went up to a counter and the employee helped with my license .
