Florida vehicle registration is absolutely ridiculous. It took an hour and a half to get it done. Done it in other states, in and out in a half hour
Just horrible customer service for no acceptable reason. More courtesy was extended to those who brought no required documtation or had no appointment. Waited 2 hours outside in the hot sun, another 30 minutes after being allowed inside the building, another 30 mins because One of my proof of residence docs, a utility bill, had my name a quarter inch directly above the address field. The ignorant rep suggested I find a passport, bank statement or other utility bill quickly. Then she advised me to sit down and wait until my number was called. Seating was packed. Still lines inside the door. 30 mins later after finding another utility bill my number was still not called so I left, disgusted. STILL no appointments open for another 2 months. How shall I get to work now if I can't drive? Is this how Florida treats Veterans?
everyone was very professional. Despite some frustration on my part I really appreciate the professionalism and kindness of the staff. I waited a little bit but it wasn’t that bad. Pleasant experience, thank you
With an appointment, this is the most efficient and fastest office for DMV I have ever encountered. The staff are well informed, knowledgeable and friendly. I am so proud of the team. This proves that not all DMV offices are the same. 👍 GREAT JOB FOLKS
Everything was fine except for the person who took my photo. She was rude, disrespectful and unhelpful. She wore a mask and with that, the partition between us, and the conversations happening on my side of the partition, I couldn’t hear much of anything she said or instructions she gave. I told her several times that I couldn’t hear her, and the last time I did, she made a rude remark rather than changing anything on her side of the partition, like standing up, closer to the partition, at the very least. I wish I’d either reported her right then and/or just asked for my old license back and walked out. Awful experience.
