Denver is dead from the neck up. The city is run by imbeciles and I'm being kind with that. The DMV posts erroneous times for the doors to open, the last call times and nothing on the website reflects changes in times just conflicting information. The only thing the official website makes clear is that they have dumbed down the drivers' test (written and driving) so that anyone can pass it. This city is failing fast thanks to the untrained and stupids running things. Please put people in office who can actually run functional departments and update websites that are a complete fiasco. The rating of 1 star is a mistake, no zeroes or negatives were available.
I just left there. Heather helped she was very nice & understanding to my situation.
Also Security Gentleman was a helpful & pleasant. Way different experience then years ago! 5 Star for sure!

I need to renew my Driver's License and since I am 70+, I wanted to know if there were special requirements for older people. I first looked online and tried to call to speak to a "live" person, but neither attempt allowed me the contact I needed. I then drove up to the El Paso County Motor Vehicle Department on Union between Research and Briargate Parkway (about a 40-minute drive). My normal experience there, involves significant wait times. However, today I was able to speak to the Receptionist, explain my situation, and she said I can renew my license in the office today. My wait was about 20 minutes, and my time with the DL Customer Service Representative was about 20 minutes. I was very pleased with the customer service today.
Don’t answer the phones so I had to drive an hour to speak to somebody. After they failed to get me my license after a month of waiting I go into the office and they move slowly and inefficiently. They spend most of their time chit chatting with each other. Missed work and an appointment to get the run-around. Not surprising for a blue state bureaucratic trash organization. Not there to serve the public. Not to mention they were giving driver licenses to people that don’t speak English. How are they supposed to read the road signs?
