Mesa Arizona MVD Reviews and Tips
They are usually very busy here so if you can make an appointment, you should. They are not the friendliest if you forget something. Make sure you look online and bring 100% everything that you believe they might remotely need. There are several lines and no one person helps you from start to finish.

The Service at the ADOT MVD East Mesa Office was very good. The Agent took his time to be sure all info was accurate and explained the process to receiving the Placard. Received the paper copy we needd.
We had previously gone to the Apache JCT AZ office. We were told an appt wasn't necessary. Waited in line 30+ min. Agent would not accept our application prepared by our DR. Insisted it was a copy & we'd have to get another one. Informed our DR of the situation and she was not very happy as she has issued MANY applications for Handicap and uses the same procedure each time. We got another application & took it to the East Mesa ADOT office and received the Placard info requested. Didn't get the Agents name or I would have included it in this message.

I had an appointment and it was allotted 10 minutes….and dang if I wasn’t in and out in those 10 minutes renewing my drivers license.
Highly recommend making an appointment so you don’t have to stand and wait in line…..since they have removed the chairs to sit down in

Hi. I have my real ID from California. I need to get a new Arizona DL, do I need any paperwork for real ID or not?
