They're very organized and it was relatively spacious inside. For a trip to the DMV it wasn't a bad experience at all. I'd bring a tablet or a book or something for the down time.

The location was spacious and easy to find. There were signs available to point towards it. There was enough room in the office so that you did not feel crowded. Only the waiting line made me feel crowded.

DMV Customer
Poorly staffed with too few attendants, long, slow lines, phone # has a long phone-tree of options and after all that they want VIN’s or license numbers to even proceed. This is just like this state to screw people around to complete simple tasks, difficultly.

We have sold an old vehicle. We have the plates.
We are acquiring a vehicle from a family member who does not need the old plates.

Is it cheaper for us to transfer our old plates or for us to transfer ownership of the family member's old plates to our name, then surrender our old plates?

Hello,

Whether you decide to transfer your old plates to the new vehicle or have the family member transfer their plates to you, the cost will be $50.
