Huntersville North Carolina DMV Reviews and Tips
It takes over 20 minutes to figure out the phone system & to choose the correct options to try and get to the correct area, and wait time for a human is 20 minutes. So, 40 minutes later when you do get to a human, and explain the issue and have questions, if the person you are speaking to doesn't seem to know the answers, they just hang up. I have legitimate questions needing answered to get a driver license & tag after moving from FL to NC. The DMV phone system is designed to make a customer just give up and hang up. The DMV employee answering the phone, who doesn't know the answers to all of the questions, just gives up and hangs up the phone.

AND THE DMV PHONE AUTOMATICALLY HANGS UP AT 5PM WHILE IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONVERSATION - HOW RUDE !!!

Carmen2704 - it seems you also haven't figured out how to post online. I'm thinking maybe it wasn't the phone system after all.

A prime example of complete government failure. Utter and complete disorganization being witnessed in front of my very eyes.
Was told several years ago that "they" were working on bettering the system and we're looking at Florida's DMV model. Well they might have looked but have not implemented one iota of Florida's efficiency. An embarrassment in customer service
