I went to get a new temporary disabled placard. The first time I stopped by the wait list said 0 minutes so I waited about 15 minutes then I had to leave for another appt. I went back later that same day and the wait list said 0 minutes again but this time I was called immediately.

Incredibly rude and inefficient. We went to their office last year when we purchased a new car. The first mistake they made was listing the cash down as a trade in. That cost us a 2 month delay and extra money. Now a year later when we went to renew the plates we discovered that they listed the car as an electric vehicle. We had to get new plates and a corrected title. Which WE had to pay for - because - wait for it - WE didn't catch THEIR mistake. Also, because of their ineptitude the plates never were "attached" to the car, so potentially we could have been ticketed or taken in for improper registration. We didn't yell, we didn't accuse, we only asked why we had to pay for the error and was extremely rudely shown the verbiage pasted on a counter that we signed stating everything was correct. No apology, no let me explain. Only rudeness. Over THEIR mistake. Will GLADLY be driving to Branson for knowledgeable and courteous help. Negative rating.

You would think with all the negative reviews that they would improve the service? My understanding is Licensing Offices are a private business contracted by the State? Well, the State needs to go out for bid and find a contractor that actually cares to do a good job! Just had the most painful experience at this Office. The clerk had to be argued with until she understood I had all the correct documents and luckily I was listening otherwise I would have never heard she was not issuing a Real ID! All I can is, have your documents and listen to what the clerk says to make sure you get what you need

This office appears to be running a credit card scam. My total bill was $65.02 which included the agency fee and it was billed on 12/18/2024, then on 12/18/2024 my credit card was charged 16.02 which is the agency charge amount. I called the office and a very rude lady who would only give a name of Samantha and refused to give a last name! She told me in order to get a refund I would need to bring my bank statement to their office to prove I got charged when they could easily check their incoming charges to see the double charge. I am handicapped and it is not easy for me to get all the way down to that office, she said I would need to prove who I am???? I would not be calling for anyone else about a charge on my credit card! This really seems to be a way to get paid double for the agency fee hoping people do not catch it.
