First, I'd like to say it went very well, talking to the woman who checked my son in for his permit test, and the other woman next to her was very friendly and talking to me about her cell phone issues giggling. They were being friendly, but I did not like the small little gentleman that was seated at the very end of the counter and I didn't catch his name but he has gray hair. Not the one with the big bushy gray beard, but this one has a little scruffy. I wanted to sign my son up for his next appointment but this guy right away started walking in circles and eventually I caught on that. I don't think he wants kids from other areas testing in Cambridge. He never did sign me up for the appointment. Talking down to me letting me know that I could go to Anoka because it's closer like I didn't already know that. He had already been talking with a rude tone. I explained that it's really hard to find an exam station that has open spots and he agreed yes they are really busy but I could walk in at any time and sit there and wait. Just really came off like he didn't want to set up an appointment for my kid. Why he didn't set up the one I asked I have no clue, but I got sick of dealing with him because he just would ramble with his intelligence that I wasn't interested in.
For this, I thought it was a headache and nobody should have to walk in there dealing with that because that guy is not there to regulate who tests in his area and he's there to do his job and not try to play outsmart people.
He acted the overall atmosphere down two stars for his shenanigans that he has no authority to do.
