Is a title required for an 18 ft pontoon boat trailer? Single axle?

In Florida, if a trailer weighs 1,999 pounds or less, it does not need to be titled or or insured. Additionally, Florida trailers are exempt from the initial registration fee.
That being said, you will still need to register your boat trailer.
