Worst fucking DMV in my life. I scheduled an appointment three weeks ago and came 10 minutes before my appointment. My ticket was never called and I got dismissed by three people until I finally flagged a person down who had the audacity to accuse me of being late when I was early. Then when I went up to get my documents scanned I realized my one of my paychecks was 4 days ahead. I asked if I could have a minute to reprint an older one and they wouldn’t even give me the time to do that despite having it electronically on my phone. The lady fucking told me “better luck next time”. Well I won’t be going back there again. In the end I wasted a fucking hour of my life and 1.5 hrs driving for nothing. Thanks a lot for nothing New Britain DMV and your shitty customer service, a chatbot would be better than you.
The online does not answer all questions!!!
I had to deal with this branch when I lived in CT. It was as miserable as they could possibly make it. Now trying to re-locate my elderly mom to Florida, I have gathered all the necessary documentation to obtain a Real ID so she can fly back with me. It's been impossible to make an appointment online (I'll be in town 2 days!!) and the 800 phone number will not put my call through to make an appointment as my number is outside their calling area ( recording). Now I have no choice but to take all the paperwork to the airport with us, go through a painful and rigorous check-in process and hope they will allow her on the plane. Otherwise I will be stuck in Connecticut with no way to get my mom to Florida, as she cannot do a long train or bus ride 2500 miles.

I always go to this location, staff is friendly and working hard to get us seen. Never had a problem with this location.
