I suggest to come at least 15 to 30 minutes earlier so that you don't miss your appointment and so that you can leave sooner, there is usually a whole lot of people being served.

Staff directing us was very nice. Once we got to the counter to apply for a new license, they were fast and efficient.

In general base, you wait a lot. Due to COVID-19, you must get an appointment. Since it is an appointment only, you do not wait a lot. The staff is always helpful. They try to do their best. Since the driver's license is the most important ID, they take their job too seriously. Sometimes they take it too seriously and it bothers you.

Today I went to the DPS office at 12220 So Gessner for the first time and I must say, from the time I set foot in the front door, I was greeted by a young man named Kevin who asked the appropriate questions, then directed me to the front desk where I encountered Jasamine. Both employees were polite and professional, both presented a warm attitude, immediately making me feel welcome. I was given the proper form to fill out as I took my seat to wait my turn.
I couldn't help but notice the atmosphere or warmth and professionalism.

Then I was escorted to another area to complete my visit, where I encountered Anthony who took care of me in the back. By this time I was amazed at the professional treatment I was witnessing this morning. In fact the entire experience left me with a smile on my face as I made my exit.
This is the way a DPS office "should" be handled, to make the customer feel welcome, and the entire experience handled with care.
I am amazed and impressed today by what I witnessed there. They far exceeded my expectations. They all went beyond. My late husband had already warned me of the kindness and professionalism, and he was so right.
Thanks to Jasamine, Kevin, and Anthony who made my experience top notch. Our city should be very proud to have them as employees.
Thanks to all three employees.

Sincerely submitted
