Murfreesboro Tennessee DOS Reviews and Tips
The location is easy to find, it's not in a busy part of town and has it's own ample parking lot. The wait time is usually not very long but is shorter if you go in the middle of the week and middle of the month. The staff are relatively helpful friendly for a DMV location, but they are understandably overworked and can be impatient with people who aren't prepared or have too many common sense questions. Always check ahead online to be sure you bring all of the necessary identification, forms and payment. Be prepared to fill out more forms when you are there and be ready when it's your turn as that will keep the whole thing running smoothly for you, the other people who need services and the employees.

How can I do the test online
Hello,
Tennessee teenagers between the ages of 15 and 17 may now take their written test online under the supervision of a proctor (parent/legal guardian)via the Tennessee Proctor Identification (PID) app. Both the test taker and proctor must follow the rules and instructors given on the web test portal.
To download the app, go to your Google/Apple store and select Tennessee Proctor ID, look for the following PID app icon, and follow the prompts to download the app.
Once the test is completed, the proctor must accompany the minor to the driver services center to pick up the learners permit.
