i went to this office today 4/17/25 3.22pm, ticket number J775 and was very disappointed with the service I got. I went there just for a correction in the spelling of my first name. Not a name change. not a surname change, just a correction, before I even started, she is telling her collage about a green card I had decades ago!!!!!! The woman that dealt with me was ok, but her college 'hiding' behind her computer was very disrespectful and unhelpful. she sat behind her desk and computer telling her college no, no we can't accept this I can't accept that. Certain people get a position and think its power! It's not! she did not even listen to what I had to say, she sent her college back and forth whist she sat on her ass behind her computer not very helpful at all. She needed to get off her butt and come tell me why I could not correct my name with my birth certificate and ss card!!!!!! as I was informed by the ss office that is what I needed to do. If you have a public job, then you must learn how to deal with people.
I had a great experience this morning with the Ladies at the passport office, only to come to 1101 E 1st street and to deal, with this negative person.
I never want to use this office again and if I do, I certainly do not want her to serve me!!! people like her give certain people a bad name.
You know who you are.

i went to this office today to get my address change and my first name spelling corrected. I must say I was very disappointed to say the least, with the service I got. The person who dealt with my issue was ok but the lady behind the counter, hiding behind her computer was not very professional or helpful at all.
She did not even come to explain to me why I could not correct my name spelling. (It was not even a total name change it was just an incorrect spelling with my first name) which the ss office told me I can change it with my ss card. She was just telling her college behind her desk, no, no, she can't do this! and can't do that! Not even waiting for me to explain the situation.
I felt bad for her college because she was trying. That's why when certain people get into a position, they think its power and they don't know how to speak or deal with people in the public. I was pissed because I was told by ss, that I could correct my name with my ss card and birth certificate! no mention of an original neutralization certificate being the only option.
i just came from the county clerk's office and the contrast to how these lovely ladies dealt with me over there, compare to 1101 E. 1st street with was astounding. I will never go back there (1101 E 1st street) for anything again!!! I will rather travel further out and know that when I go for a service I'm going to be treated with respect and instead of getting up off their butt and come explain to the customer and not hiding behind a desk and computer and giving orders to her collage, come and explain to the customer's face why? People like this give a bad name to everyone. The Beautiful Ladies at the Seminal County Clerks office need to teach this woman some manners.

This rating is for employee Nikki. She went way above and beyond in helping us. She was so nice to both me and my wife.
I went back to the DMV today to show proof of insurance and pay for and pick up my new License plate tag, this was my 2nd visit as the Insurance agent had forgotten to give me a receipt for insurance of one of our vehicles, so she had to mail me a copy of of my payment, so I could return to the DMV and pay for my tag.
I returned to the DMV and their was a line of people all the way out the front door, so I went down to window 24 as I had been directed to do before. When I got to the window I asked if I could take care of this matter and pay for the tag. I was then directed to return to the office by the door and get some kind of authorization. I have had three surgeries this year, including a hip replacement, and am in constant pain which is obvious as they could see my difficulty in walking, but they couldn't care less, so I returned to my car and went home without my tag. This seems to be the prevalent atitude at the DMV, and a lot of the Cape Coral city offices.

Just a terrible organization with the employees who has the absolute worst attitude. It is known that the DMV has the most ignorant employees, but the Sunrise location is #1. Ignorant, no care in the world and everyone is on a power trip. The 3 employees working the morning outside lines have no care including when someone has been sitting outside since 430am. Crazy what you have to do just to renew a license. Wish you could just make an appointment, but the website is broke and ABSOLUTELY they will not let you book an appointment in the person. You ask to speak to the supervisor, and she hides in her office as her job is that important that she has no time to speak with a customer. The 3 employees working the morning walk in line and the supervisor..... TERRIBLE attitude.
