Absolutely useless. The Athens, TX DMV is ontologically evil. The Governor should fire the entire staff as a warning to other corrupt employees. They do not help anyone who visits their office. They are not civil servants. They are self-serving troglodytes who will stare you right in the eye, and tell you that despite the empty lobby and multiple employees, that "they have no openings". Then they'll tell you that the only way for a returning veteran to renew their drivers license is to make an appointment, which will be available in a month or two. Clearly, they are not here to assist the public in any meaningful way. They are only here fatten their pocketbooks at the taxpaying citizens expense.
