I called 5 times. No one answers the phone. I left a message no one called me back. A note on the website indicates that they have moved to
110 E. Elm Street. Anther website address indicates 101 S. State St. Haven't been able to reach anyone as to which address is correct. I called the 919 number and their robot was an even more frustrating experience. Pitiful situation.

my Fiancee went an inch into the grass and got auto failed for her driving exam… that is crazy and with her being told she did everything else perfectly is outrageous to me. We take off work to do this what a joke

Thanks to examiner Gregory, she has made this office such a welcoming place. I have told everyone to come here because of her compassion for helping people. This office deserves and A+++....

I had made an appointment 3 months ago online for the Shallotte DMV office for Wednesday, August 20 at 10:30 AM. I was checked in at 10:16. While waiting I observed that there were only two examiners who were seeing customers. A third employee was there but only checking in customers as they came in. My number was called at 10:32 and my license was renewed with no problem. I was leaving the parking lot at 10:45. I commend the employees for handling the flow of customers in a timely manner. Several walk-in customers were not happy about having to wait so long to be called up. Some stated they had been waiting since 6:00AM to get in that day. I hope North Carolina will try to make getting a driver's license less stressful for both customers and employees by providing more offices and employees to handle the ever-growing population.
I have not had great experiences with multiple DMV’s in the area. Though I feel the overall system needs to be fixed and there needs to be more workers to assist the people. Waiting in line all day is a big problem. But even then, I had the best experience with a very kind young woman at the DMV in Erwin and she was just the best, Her name is Catherine Pacheco. She was a sweetheart, very friendly and helpful. If you read this Catherine, Please keep doing what you are doing. You made my entire day better.
