Had an appointment to renew my license today and had the best experience I’ve had in my 49 years of driving. Lest than a 5 minute wait time after checking in a service was about 6 minutes, test ,photo, identification and all. Rep. Was very pleasant and kind. Great job DMV!

office is ran very efficiently. visited 2 other offices which were both understaffed and poorly managed. came to shelby, in and out in less that 3 minutes.

Unprofessional and very rude black female on bay 3 on 5/7/26 held onto a fax I was waiting for for 45 min pretending it did not arrive! I know because I saw the fax time stamp! She did not have a name tag, she barked comments like a street person, and almost made me take an unneeded driving test until another employee told her not to. She should be fired due to her horrible attitude and incompetence! Due better Clayton the office is very poorly run and the employees come across dismissive and unhelpful!
