Lexington DMV - Driver License Office

This afternoon I visited the 2314 S. Main St. DMV location for a license renewal. The staff was polite and courteous upon check-in. I had to wait maybe 30 minutes (not bad considering this time of year) and in no time I was called back (E468) to I believe desk 3. There I met the nicest lady who processed my renewal application and had me on my way in short order after completing the required testing. This person was very kind and when I did not have the remaining $.25 in cash (I did offer to use my debit card), she without hesitation paid the $.25 out of her own pocket. With everything going on in the world domestically and abroad, this simple act of kindness really made my day! It is a rare event and a treat to witness someone of her character and she deserves recognition for the positive image she reflects on the NCDMV office. A truly rare gem indeed!
