Make an appointment if possible I've been here for 2 hrs already. It's 10:45. I just need a printed receipt, not service. Rediculous.

We went in to transfer from out of state and 2 of 3 people we interacted with were rude, uncaring, incapable of common courtesy, and I can’t help but add…. fat and ugly. The one decent human being ended up charging my wife’s credit card twice even though she did not get her license due to expired insurance card. Why was she charged at all if her license was denied you dopey rude idiots? Why do you need proof of insurance anyway to get a driver license? Logically that should only be required if you’re registering a vehicle. They denied me because I did not have 2 acceptable id’s. My real id license from another state was not enough. My picture concealed carry id from another state was not acceptable, neither was my federally issued pilots license, or my social security card (because it was laminated)……. Unbelievable. Now since they charged her credit card twice my wife needs to go back there tommorrow to try and get refunded. I’ll be going somewhere else to conduct my business lest I lose my composure and express my true feelings for their inept, rude, mood destroying behavior. If you read this you may want to go elsewhere too. I only hope their style of customer service is not epidemic throughout the NC system.

Still sitting in my car waiting to get called inside where I will have to wait more. It’s been three hours. Typical government office. A bunch of fat lazy employees working at a snails pace.

I went in there this morning with my daughter in-law to renew our licenses. I tried to renew it online and wasn't eligible and I had no choice but go in person as a walk-in even though I was avoiding going in there from all the stories I was hearing. We did wait for 3 hours, but we got it done. I want to recognize this person who would come out every 15 minutes, and tell us to be patient, and what anyone needs to have in order to get their business done, and to not wait if they dont have all the documents. Her name is Marilyn Cushion, and she deserves every penny of her salary, and more. I am so glad I had a good experience and someone out there needs to hear this.

my daughter in-law and I waited for three hours in line and went by fast enough, we got business done, and a front lady forgot her name now, it started with D and she is from New York, was very helpful by coming outside every 10 minutes to update everyone on what people need before they entered the building, so they dont waste their time. She Rocked, She deserves every penny of her salary and needs raise, we need more people like her.

Went to the Stedman DMV Office this morning and they were extremely busy. I had stopped by earlier in the week and one of the Drivers License Examiners had told me a good time that I might want to try to come in for a renewal of my NC License. I took her advice and left and came back on the date and time she advised. With the office full of both young adults and older ones as well, I was in and out in 30 minutes. The gentleman that helped me was very proficient and polite. Him and the female examiner beside of him (I think her name was Pam) were very approachable and customer oriented. Their Customer Service Skills Rocked - KUDOS and THANK YOU. S. Davis, Eastover, NC.
