The lobby area appears that it was recently remodeled. The furniture was clean, as well as the carpet. I went there to renew my license. I did not have all the necessary documentation to get the real ID. The person serving me was very helpful and told me what to bring back next time. There is a nice big parking lot that was not full at all. Everyone was wearing a mask. I will definitely go back to this DMV location in future!

The staff was able to assist me with my questions and queries in a timely manner. They were friendly enough and did not cause me any trouble or treat me with disrespect. The wait time was closer to a half an hour as they use a ticketing system similar to a deli. The location is easy to find as it is right in town and the parking lot is always available with spots. The covid19 procedure are very standard. They required wearing masks, offered hand sanitizer, encourages social distancing, but nothing was seen as being "forceful" besides the mask mandate. My tip to others is that this is not a bad DMV and the only real downsides are the hard plastic chairs and what always seems to be a longer wait time than you might expect. If possible, things are available to be done online or at minimum you can complete the forms before you go in, so you don't have any surprises about documents or things you need to know to successfully complete the required forms.

I was able to get done in record time with renewing my driver's license. The new layout of the West Bend DMV is more functional and easier to understand what to do and how. Less than 15 minutes.

I had an appointment to renew my drivers license. Made sure I had all the correct paperwork. Short wait in line, literally in and out in less than 10 min. So unexpected compared to the old days of waiting and waiting.
